    National Epidemiology Center (NEC) Library The National Epidemiology Center Library, formerly Field Epidemiology Training Program Library, was established 1989 under the FETP project. Dr. Mark E. White donated most of the library holdings. It provides materials and services to meet the instructional research and extension needs of all FETP fellows and staff.

Library Schedule

NEC Staff and FETP
    Monday to Friday 8:00 - 12:00 AM. Fellow 1:00 - 5:00 PM.

DOH Personnel
    Monday to Wednesday 8:00 - 12:00 AM.

Students and Researchers
    Monday to Wednesday 1:00 - 5:00 PM.

“Lunch break is 12:00 n.n to 1:00 p.m. No Library services on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays”

Clientele

Who may use the NEC Library

Regular clientele

  • All permanent NEC staff and FETP fellows.
  • All permanent DOH employees.

Outside Users

  • Researcher, students, members of educational institutions and other private individuals granted permission by the Librarian. They may use books and other research materials in the library subject to existing policies of the library.

Mission and Vision

The main function of the NEC Library is to support the objectives and goals of the institution of which it is part.

The main goal of the NEC library is to provide materials and services to meet the needs of all FETP fellows and NEC staff.
