National Center for Disease Prevention and Control Organizational Chart

General Functions:

1.        Develops plans, policies, programs, projects and strategies for disease prevention and control and health protection.

2.        Provides coordination, technical assistance, capability building, consultancy and advisory services to disease prevention and control and health protection.

3.        Advises the Secretary and the Undersecretary of Health on matters pertaining to disease prevention and control and health protection.

 

INFECTIOUS DISEASE OFFICE

1.   Plans,  Program and Project Development  Division

Specific Function:

a.     Develops policies, standards and guidelines for the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

b.     Develops plans, programs and projects to carry our preventive and control strategies against infectious diseases.

c.     Sets national health objective and priorities for the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

d.     Assists and strengthens capacity to measure and analyze the burden of infectious diseases.

e.     Provides monitoring and evaluation schemes to measure of interventions in the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

 

2.      Technical   Assistance  and  Resource Development Division

Specific Function:

a.     Provides technical assistance and expert services to collaborating and implementing agencies on matters pertaining to the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

b.     Develops capability of health sector agencies and organizations in the implementation of programs and projects related to the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

c.     Promotes coordination and collaboration with partner agencies and organizations on  matters pertaining to infectious diseases.

d.     Mobilizes resources to assist collaborating and implementing agencies and organizations.

 

DEGENERATIVE DISEASE OFFICE

1.        Plans, Program and Project Development Division

Specific Function:

a.     Develops policies, standards and guidelines for the prevention and control of degenerative diseases.

b.     Develops plans, programs and projects to carry our preventive and control strategies against degenerative diseases.

c.     Sets national health objective and priorities for the prevention and control of degenerative diseases.

d.     Assists and strengthens capacity to measure and analyze the burden of degenerative diseases.

e.     Provides monitoring and evaluation schemes to measure of interventions in the prevention and control of degenerative diseases.

a.     Develops policies, standards and guidelines on environmental and occupational health.

b.     Develops plans, programs and projects on environmental and occupational health.

c.     Sets national health objective and priorities for environmental and occupational health.

d.     Assists and strengthens capacity to measure and analyze the burden of health hazards and risks associated with environmental and work related factors.

e.     Provides monitoring and evaluation schemes to measure of interventions to manage health hazards and risks associated with environmental and work related factors.

 

2.     Technical   Assistance  and  Resource Development Division

Specific Function:

a.     Provides technical assistance and expert services to collaborating and implementing agencies on matters pertaining to environmental and occupational health

b.     Develops capability of health sector agencies and organizations in the implementation of programs and projects related to environmental and occupational health.

c.     Promotes coordination and collaboration with partner agencies and organizations on matters pertaining to environmental and occupational health.

d.     Mobilizes resources to assist collaborating and implementing agencies and organizations.

 

FAMILY HEALTH OFFICE

1.     Plans, Program and Project Development Division

Specific Function:

a.     Develops policies, standards and guidelines on family health.

b.     Develops plans, programs and projects to provide packages of services for family health.

c.     Sets national health objective and priorities for family health.

d.     Assists and strengthens capacity to measure and analyze the burden of diseases on families and special population groups.

e.     Provides monitoring and evaluation schemes to measure impact of health services on families and special population groups.

a.     Provides technical assistance and expert  services to collaborating and implementing  agencies on matters pertaining to the  prevention and control of infectious  diseases.
