Health Secretary Enrique T. Ona (5th from left), during the Second Outstanding Healthy Lifestyle Advocacy Awards (OHLAA), awarding a check of P100,000 and plaque of recognition to Davao City Health Office as one of the finalists in the recent OHLAA award for their unique mix of a wide range of initiatives for the prevention and control of risk factors of non-communicable diseases. Their lifestyle program includes Gulayan sa Barangay, community-based feeding programs, mental health program for women and children in crisis, rehabilitation centers for drug dependents, and people suffering from alcohol abuse.
